Default How lucky is this driver

This was one LUCKY guy.
Look at the first picture above and you can see where this guy broke through the guard rail (right side where the people are standing on the road).
His truck left the road, traveling from right to left. He flipped end-over-end, across the culvert outlet and landed on the left side of it.

Now look at the 2nd picture below:

If you had a gun to your head and you had to pick either, win the lotto or land the car in that manner, pick wrong and it's game over - which is better odds?

Is the guy holding the gun to my head in the passangers seat or standing beside the truck?
If he was in the passangers seat and I floored it to do the jump I bet he would s--t his pants about the time the guard rail was in front of the truck and I was doing 90mph. He SCREAMS OUT "I WAS JUST KIDDING MAN." I look over to him smile and say, "it's a little late for that now don't you think."

Reminds me of a picture i saw in a CHP magazine of an unlucky driver who mowed down a utility pole, staggered away from the wreck relatively unhurt, only to walk into the downed power line with his head. Blew both his arms off and set fire to the stumps left on his shoulders. Ouch.

You know I saw that too. I was hoping someone here would see this and blow the picture up to confirm it.
