Anyone else using Amazon for MP3 downloads now?

I just recently found out they offer MP3 downloads now at just $.89 a single and about $8.99 per album vs itunes .99/9.99 and it will automatically add the songs to itunes or windows media player when you download. And the songs aren't in the protected format like itunes creates.

It's also much faster than itunes as it is web-based. I know on my machine itunes takes like 2 minutes just to open and connect.

So far I've been able to find songs/albums I've been looking for. Are there any downsides to their service that I'm not thinking of?

Nope. I goto:

http://www.mp3sparks.com/

like $2-$3 per CD. Nothing but excellent results, and customer service from them. They are the former "allofmp3.com".

Thanks for the tip. A quick search didn't have a few albums I'm looking for but they seem to have a good bit of inventory. I noticed most songs are 192k as well which I'd prefer higher encoding if possible.

Hey, I got something that is potentially better than even that for ya.

http://www.mp3fiesta.com/?user=774764

The lil extra at the end of the link is my referral

But plain old www.mp3fiesta.com will work if you don't wanna hook a brotha up! Anyhow, it's supposed to be the 2nd cheapest on the web. I found a review of the place at the allofmp3 forum. I'm gonna be spending a few bucks here since their song average cost is $0.10 each.
