Question 3 CARS IN TWO CAR GARAGE???

I remember being led to a post that led me to a sight which sold and supplied a hydrolic(cant spellit)stackable storage lift unit.Yes I am sure the cost would be 15,000.00 or more but that for now seems like it may be an avenue that is better than moving and the costs incurred for my individual situation.2 exotic show cars and one muscle show car ,none of which are acceptable to be put in the driveway. If any one can find that post and re-post it or add a link so I can research it that would be mucho' appreciato'.....

These lifts can be had for less than $2800 delivered.
Most companies are asking $3000+ but with a little negotiations, you can get them cheaper.

Most designs are pretty much the same. The patent ran out and now many companies produce the exact design.

Here are a few:

American Custom Lifts

Lifts Unlimited

Gemini Lifts

All three of the above are actually manufactured by Gemini but you can get a better price from American Custom Lifts.

Others that are virtually the same lift are:

Double park

Eagle Equipment

Here are some pics of my lift.

Remember, you also need height clearance, generally the height of the two cars plus six inches (as someone here mentioned the other day). Also, you will need to clear the garage door when it opens, which may (or may not) reduce the available height, depending on the depth of your garage.

I have 8'4" inches it looks like when I just measured. The two exotics are Lamborghini Diablo and NSX I think it will be close but worst comes to worst I'll alter the ceiling before I abandon the auto lift idea and have to buy another house/stick one in the driveway or put one in storage none of which I am willing to accept as an option.Based on the tread I was led to two NSX'S would need 8'3".Im sure the Lambo is lower than the NSX.

Cool

Wow,, I'd love to add a Diablo to my collection of exotic and everyday-cars... until now composed of *one* car: the nsx!

Anyway, the Diablo is less than one and a half inch lower than a lowered nsx, so you will not have much difference in therm of hieght in stocking 2 nsx or a nsx and a diablo.

OEM nsx: 46"
lowered nsx (mine): 44.5"
Diablo VT or GTR: 43.5"

I think this is the last question does anyone have the dimensions of the 2001 Diablo SV hieght, width, lenght.I am hoping the width will not be an issue between the corner posts.

The car is being delived next month the 15 th' is the due date although I only expect it by the end of the month(which I would not dislcose to the shipping company for obvious reasons).I dont have any pics yet but as soon as I do I'll post them off topic of course.
Its a 2001 SV Yellow (of course) I added the Jota hood that sits above and in back of the cabin ,kinda like a dual scoop Mclaren thing, rear wing (of course),nav/dvd/back-up monitor/lo-jack police tracker/@road system personal tracker(fleet type) shows mph, location, lock and unlock doors, arm and dis-arm alarm and start switch/killer sound system/interior mood-lights/ground neon(for the car show only)very tacky on the street/strobes thru-out(12 total)also for the show/progressive NOS system set @ 150 hp currently/alot of carbon fiber in the cabin and door sills/the 5 hole rims entirely chromed with the little studs done in gold(not the lugs)/two tone back and yellow seats, dash, inner doors, floor mats, headliner etc./fixed head-lights (of course)I think pop-up lights detract from the lines of any car.MYNSX included thats why I especially like the new NSX.
Anyway now I have to stop thinking about it or I'll start feeling more impatient than I already am.
Does anyone know the hieght of the NSX???
As I said I have niether of the vehicles here till I get my NSX back from Mark Basch tomorrow

PS I called American Custom Lifts and ordered the lift in red and for them to assemble it and my electrician will come by this week and install the 220 line to run the 2 hp. motor. They said there was a particular part of the lift was 350 lbs and I'd have to be there to recieve it and a dolly to move it w/ friends etc and then I opted for the 2800.00 negotiated down from 3100.00 (thanks to the post from the NSX guy who posted his recomendations to that Co.
PS.....registered member (JAG) IF you can here me American Lift asked if you'd call him wants to thank you for the recomendation
PSSS .... The Barrett Jackson car auction is in town in Scottsdale A.Z this weekend .Now this is gonna be fun to see all the cars they are showing Plus the World of Wheels Car Show is also here this weekend.
The only thing that could be better is the Bubble Gum Run which next year will go from New York to L.A .I watched one last night on tv in Germany and Its bad a## .Hundreds of car all with the same destination and see who can get there the fastest.I am gonna find out exactly who, what, when, where, etc and join
PS..if anyone knows about the run please post it.I'll need a passenger/driver to take turns w/ there will be everything from Dodge caravans to porshe, ferrari, lambo, nsx etc
