NSX meets 430 Scuderia Rear End

I really like the look of the rear diffusor and high mounted exhaust of the 430 Scuderia, so I Photoshop-grafted one on. Don't know whose car this is, so I apologize in advance.

The 430S rear bumper isn't otherwise much different than the NSX, so it probably wouldn't be too hard to craft an FRP rear bumper. The toughest part would be the exhaust routing, but I bet it's do-able.

Thoughts? Who is willing to try it?

Wow I love the looks, I wonder if its actually possible.

looks like a transformer along with the tail lights

looks good though haha

Wow! I like it. Much different than anything I've ever seen on an NSX. There may just be a bit too much black than I would like. I'd like to see the top portion of the modification painted to match the color of the car. It looks like there is a good curved horizontal line that would make the break from yellow to black believable. At any rate, I admire the creativity here.

Looks good. Probably have to sacrifice the trunk to route the exh. Still...very a sharp looking.

The black part that surrounds the exhaust is actually black mesh. My car is Berlina Black so I'm not sure how it would look on mine, but who knows??

I don't care for the shape of the LED tail lights but I was too lazy to PS those out.

I'd keep the exhaust low as it currently sits. Its functional. The rear does look very mean and aggressive. I like it. Its sort of like the GT-One:

try to photoshop nsx with base model F430 rear end.

BTW, i dont think it's possible because the diffuser and exhaust positions. if you want that diffuser, where do u put exhaust? maybe in trunk? LOL

I like it, my only question is functionality. Currently I think the exhaust would interfere with the aluminum safety bar that is located under the bumper. A solution might be to place the exhaust as a center mount in the area just below the license plate (that octagonal area in the middle of the diffuser).

Personally I like where the exhaust is currently mounted on this image, just don't know if it's functional.

Again good job, it looks great. Now if anyone is willing to make it???

I think it is possible. You would probably have to do away with the rear bumper beam as Velveeta said, but I think there is otherwise enough room between the trunk rear wall and the bumper to centrally mount a muffler high enough to clear the diffusor. The exhaust pipes could loop up and out on each end of the muffler. Nothing (mostly) is impossible!

Look even the S2000s want to be like a Ferrari.

Or you can just buy a F430!!!!

Geez, why do people want their cars to look like OTHER cars? So you can be a POSER? If you want a car with the F430 rear end, then buy a Ferrari F430.

I like it, but it wouldn't look good with a US size license plate...and the bumper would start to warp/melt.

No doubt Euro license plates look better. Here's a U.S. plate on a 430S:

Great photochopping skill. Looks fantastic. Yes I would buy one even if it meant giving up my trunk space that I never use.

It's not to make it look like another car. You're only a "Poser" if you try to pass off your modified car as the real thing. I wouldn't put Ferrari badges on my NSX, and don't care if anyone "thinks" it's something other than an NSX. But I do think the Scuderia's rear end looks better than the old NSX. Call me crazy. I don't think people do the 02+ conversion to pose as having a newer car, they just think it looks better than the old.

I'm sure I'm the only one with this problem, but I don't have the cash flow to plunk down $400k plus for a 430 Scuderia. Tonight's the lotto, so maybe that will change.

I agree with this. Besides....clearly the NSX looks like a Ferrari already........if it didn't I wouldn't keep getting the same question from everyone......"What kind of Ferrari is that". I dont care I know what it is...........and like you said if someone put Ferrari badges on their NSX and tried to pass it off as one then you are truly a poser. But if I see a nice deisgn on another car that I want to incorpoare on or in mine I dont think that makes me or anyone else a poser.

What y'all think of Vroom's car?

How about a pic of Vroom's car from the front?

I've only seen rear shots of it

Vroom's rear bumper is half-way to what I did in photoshop. In essence, the only real differences are the shape of the "cutout" around the license plate and the location of the exhaust exits. The basic idea is already there and I'm sure Vroom would be a great guy to fabricate the look I was going for.

LOL. S2000 photoshop is the one that i was talking about. however, it's really hard to make it exactly same as F430. blah. i want to know who gonna be the first one to finish it.

BTW, you are trying to seduce me.

I don't post too often as of recently, but holy smokes, that's the most impressive interior I have ever seen, ever!
