Ok, not so nice with the Nsx but each to their own.
Let me know if you need some backing money for this project.
I might be interested in a set once complete.
But, nice job regardless.

UHH - can I get some backing for my " Dave and Wil cruise 118th" project?

Oh ya , and since I just bumped this thread ahead of mine -

GREAT WORK MAN!!!!!

Here are some parking light pics and a pic with the parking light and turn signal. The pics of the brake lights are coming soon.

It was a show of how impressed I am.
And since I'm your rich uncle and what not......

LED taillight looking good! Can't wait to get my set...

Im not ready to officially put my name on the list as I have too many other "to do's" right now, but I have to say I've been following this thread and these look really good, well done. Looking forward to installed pics!

No problem. Thank you for the complements.

You look like you have alot on the list. I would say that you could put me down for one but I dont want to be without my NSX in the summer.

How long before you would get mine done (if I were next on the list)?

They look great BTW.

Thanks,
Jason

I see myself finishing the prototype up in a week or two and hopefully testing it on a vehicle the week after that. Besides that I see each set taking 2-3 weeks.

ATTENTION

After hearing a lot of people's concerns about being without taillights during my LED taillight build on their vehicle, I have come up with a solution.

I now plan to pre-make the LED modules and test fit them on the set of taillights I have in my possession. Pre-making the boards will take 2 -3 weeks. If it is your turn in line for me to make your LED taillights, I will ask you to send me your taillights ONLY when I have a premade set complete. That way all I have to do is open up your taillights, pop the LED modules in and close them back up. This will allow the customer to keep his taillights longer and not have to worry about being without taillights for an extended time.

I am doing the 02+ version soon.

If anyone has a single 02+ taillight they are willing to part with forever, I need one. I don't care if the lens is cracked, I just don't want the housing cracked. Please let me know, I'll offer whoever has one a semi-discounted price on their LED taillight set.

Thank You
Good idea. Are you doing the 02+ style also. I only see the older version. Can't wait to get mine.

small upper "triangles"?

I've been monitoring this thread, as I have a keen interest in this conversion (eventually). I have a question, the areas marked below in light-blue w/ the "?", I haven't seen in your posts/pics anything in regards to that area. Or did I miss those pics?

For the '91-'01 NSX taillights (which are transparent-red on the outer surface), could this area conceivably be done w/ amber LED's (in tapering parallel-lines, like the red LED's that would be below them)?

Reference:

* yellow scribble -> non-custom LED-conv' in this thread (a generalized/non-precise schematic for illustration; irrelevant to my "?")
* light-blue scribble -> actual area of inquiry "?" & focus of this post
