Got a new DD, 10 mazdaspeed 3

OK so i sold my beloved MUGEN SiR accord wagon, well it was really just a 97 ex, and bought a mazdaspeed 3. Cheap to mod and Cobb tuning is local. The tech pkg includes push button start, Sat/Nav and BT audio and cell phone. I love everything about the car except the front of it. Also the wheels i want, 2009 RX8 R3 wheels are 1300 a pop from the dealership. they are an inch bigger than mine and wider! Overall a nice daily driver that is surprisingly well packages and fast. $1500 and a trip to Cobb tuning will make it FASTER!!!

maybe taller than the accord but basically the same size. Which one do you like better matty?? I think it will take you after i drop the 1500 on bolt ons!!!:biggrin:

I love these cars. I always thought if I bought one I would photoshop the body color onto the front grill to see how it looked. The front is the only part that makes me leary. BUT, great choice!

Nice car Ko! Good friend at work had on 08 and recently traded it in for a new one. His is white and looks great. Mazda has been able to maintain the fun factor in their cars better than most of the competition (honda cough cough*) IMO. Great car, especially for a DD.

Awesome man! I have a 2008 MS3 with Hypertech Tuner, Intake, Test Pipe, and Racing Beat exhaust and it blows away my NSX in acceleration... It's been a great car and a blast to drive.
Excellent buy!

Love the Mazdaspeed products. I used to have a Mazdaspeed Protege as my daily, the Kenwood stereo was cool and missed how easy the car shifts and the handling was pretty amazing. I sold the car with only 8K miles on it and I've been regretting it every time I think about it. :frown:

I have a 2011 MS3 as my DD. Great car! You'll love it. I purchased it with spare 17" wheels and snow tires and just blew by everything in the snow too.

The wife has an 08 cx-7 and i was impressed with the option/price and performance thing. I went to buy a white 08 but this one had all the bells and whistles. I looked at the wrx sti, golf gti and the caliber srt4. The caliber was fast and could easily be modded. The mazda was better equipped for the money and again is easy to mod with opening the motor.

I also drive a Mazda3/Hatch for DD... mine's an '04 3S, pre-"Speed3". The 3S at that time came with 17s, better brakes and susp, and 2.3L/170hp. Basically, everything on the Speed3 EXCEPT the turbo... :redface: . That's OK, I already have 1 hot rod... I've owned the Mazda3 6 yrs and love it.... particularly love the ZERO maintenance; except for brakes... but, brake wear is probably not the car's fault! :wink:

Just purchased a cobb AP, SRI, TIP and BPV. that should get me at least another 50 hp and it was CHEEEAAAPPP!

i was sleep when i posted i could take you out:tongue:. the only thing the ms3 and the gtr have in common is the Cobb AP!
