Full paint correction + xpel on front clip + ceramic coating for $3000 sounds high but still about right for a top quality job... is this from Detailer's Domain in Norwood? Personally, I would skip the expense of the xpel on a leased car, but then again, I've heard of people buying extended...

Pull the 500 lbs of batteries and electric motors out of the NSX and I bet it will make up those 3 seconds...

That is strange - I know they get more than their share of rain over there, but do the damned timed lap in the dry and let May putter around in the wet!

Some irony - that's the same dealer (although one of their other locations) that refused my NSX at MSRP deposit because they wanted to reserve the right to charge whatever they could get for them, and never contacted me again. Which actually worked out fine because $200k is too much for an NSX...

These "entertainment" based reviews place the greatest value on controlled power slides. McLarens have a complex series of button presses to turn the stability control completely off, which you must do to perform these slides for the camera, and that was apparently not done for the early 12C...

OK, I'll make the post everyone else was wondering about, but no one wanted to make: Why does this high tech hybrid, 9 speed DSG equipped car get the same crappy highway mileage (22 MPG) as the Audi R8 V10? I expected another NSX "party trick" would be 30+ MPG highway cruising capability - guess...

Very nice driving, but I don't think he was correct about the 3 stages of brake temp warning since you can clearly hear what he described as that "third stage" audible warning as he brakes hard from high speed into the turn. He was probably just describing everything the car does when it senses...

Nice find - obviously a fully developed car (and manual). Reading the concerns about how the lithium batteries can self discharge over time, I think Acura missed a feature that would have made sense given the more typical occasional use / multi-vehicle garages these cars will (unfortunately) sit...

Nice find (and REALLY detailed review), the more I see and know about this car the more I like it! Really looking forward to the comparison tests. I guess I've come to terms that the car is "worth" $150-180k+ given the current prices of the competition. Time to mark my 2020 calendar to start...

Bizarre choice of attire! And in typical Jay Leno's Garage fashion, he popped the engine lid and talked about the trunk while ignoring the engine! Regardless, the car looks great, just wish it was filling the price gap left by the gen 1 R8 V8...

Looking forward to this - Jay isn't always the most technically accurate guy but he does go into extreme detail.
