You can swap pins in the connector rather than buy an adaptor cable I installed a CHM-S601 after my OEM Acura changer died. Its been fine. (this was ~4-5 years ago, too). Anyways, you can save a few bucks by prying open the connector and swapping around two pins. The Honda/Acura changers...

That makes no sense whatsoever. Especially in an NSX. The factory sub is horrible beyond words. There are no rear speakers, you don't need a 5 channel amp. Kickers aren't known to be the best separates (not bad, just that many people prefer others....) Keep shopping for an installer.... --Ed

I haven't washed either of my covers recently. (one is wrapped up, the other just isn't being used). But, when I did, I always went down the local laundromat and used one of the mongo-big-industrial sized machines. Ed

This is really great advice. I have an older custom cover on my '91 Civic Si, and it fits LIKE A GLOVE! The fabric is fine (Evolution 3?). I also have the factory cover for my NSX, and, of course, it fits like a glove, too. Honestly, I'd have to say the Civic cover is probably a little...

Or, as I did, you just need to break open the connector and swap the two pins that need to be swapped. The adaptor is just a cross-over cable for these pins. And easy way to save $20, an extra cable, and even a trip to the local audio store.... ed
