Yep, skip to 11:37 into the video and you'll see the car for a second or two as it drives through the parking garage. The car has a black roof in the video. The pic below I found on this forum back in the day showing the car with CA plates like you mentioned.

Yeah, these are the earlier generation of the SOS wheels which were available in a 17x9 +40 rear wheel option. Now SOS only offers the rear in the 18s size.
