How much better is the type S over the NC1?

Either I suppose. The "new NSX" got a lot of praise when it came out, then ebay got flooded with resellers so they sorta because white tigers. a lot like the NA2s actually, sadly.

    75K valve adjustment service

Its definitely wear related and according to noise. In theory, if your engine is oiled, the actual wear is very minimal. I've seen Legends with 300k miles without the valve lash adjusted, it seems to be mentioned a lot in Hondaland, but I for one have very rarely seen a car actually...loosing...

How much better is the type S over the NC1?

I had no idea this model or even body change existed. Sadly I havent seen one of these on the road in 7 years, how many did Honda sell?

Whats the funniest thing anyone's said about your car?

If you put an Acura badge on a dodge Stealth, I bet lots of kids now wouldn't know the difference till they looked it up on their phones.

The people who approach us about our NSX...

If you didn't think this was 1989, look at the spokeswoman's hair. Visual correlation to the HP-X is mostly the low nose, position of where the turn signals would be, and the bubble shape of the glass to mock a fighter jet for no blind spot visibility (one of the things the NSX gets mentioned...

Honcho's Long Road to Imola Type-S Zero

I don't like to quote and reply, but of all the ricer shit on this car, this one floored it for me. I hope you bought this car for real cheap, cause I dont know who decided they wanted to ugly mod the crap out of a Civic, and then said, no for ten times the price, ill do it on an NSX instead...

The people who approach us about our NSX...

Yeah. If you look into it, the original NSX concept sketch was made i THINK in 1984 and by Pininfarina. Thats why when people say the NSX looks like an Italian supercar, I tell them it is, but with Honda build quality so it doesn't break down

Do noisy exhausts sacrifice significant horsepower?

To this day I still hear people bark about "gassing" brake pads in reference to Asbestos... I also hear the word "backpressure" used a lot from the old guys, and some kids, as if every new car is still carburated. Some people don't know the facts and don't wanna do the research, understandable...

How to repair stripped hole in rear subframe?

I'd vote for timeserts. I've seen the quality of metal they use, and its a formed sleeve, while some use a "spring", a timesert is actually machined similar to and meant for the use of bolts. I've used them myself for oil pan nuts, exhaust studs in the engine head, and timing belt boss holes...

The Honda HSC the 2nd Gen NSX that never was.

so much prettier than the current one. then again, so was the one that actually got built, even with no paint!

Bump steer kit required following suspension modifications?

Sorry if I'm wrong here, but wasnt the purpose of the front NSX's suspension from the ground up to eliminate bump steer? I recall there being a part that is called "anti-bumpsteer" :P

    The $1.55 Repair

Every single Honda. The side of the road fix we used to do was duct taping two pennies together. The bolt and a chunk of rubber (to hold the bolt in place as a 'locknut') also works equally well.

    The story of NSX

Those who refered the NSX's basic body with regards to the windows comparing it to a fighter jet felt like a gimmick back in the day but is underappreciated now. Most modern cars have crazy fat C pillars with little to no rear quarter glass so they actually NEED backup cameras while the 90s...
