    Opinions on NSX market values

Yup! Bought mine '94 in 95. I was waiting for the new 95 but was disappointed with the specs and decided to get a '94 instead.

    Opinions on NSX market values

I was under the impression that ’94 change the alignment specs as ’94 change the wheels to 16” front and 17” back. The reason I know is my bud had a ’93 (I think) and we compared the handbooks. The wheels and setting were different. I think his was a ’93 but I could be wrong. I remember he...

    Opinions on NSX market values

I agree with you. The first gen '91-'94 should be more collectable. Other than the Zanardi, only the pre ’94 have manual steering. ’95 and ’96 is over weighted with reinforcements. Coupes are rare after ’94. Since ’91-’94 seems to be less desirable to some folks; May be this is the time to...

    Front Lic Plate

LAX is risky. A few years ago, I was driving my Benz without front Licence plate and I got a warning but no ticket. I never have the front plate on my '94 NSX. I have it new since '95 and never get a ticket. I have to admit that I do not drive the car often and have only about 58.000 miles...

Does anyone else have a radar detector installed from acura?

I have a K40 installed by a car audio shop back in 1995. I cannot remember but I think it was one of the shops recommended by K40. It was designed to be installed above the steering or in front of the instrument panel. I do not like that location and told the shop to install it under the...

    Cold Air Intakes ...

Just want to bring up an issue. Dyno testing is done with the engine in a car static or on a test stand, still static. With a Ram Air intake facing forward at speed, I would not be surprised if the engine would produce more power.

    Cold Air Intakes ...

The question is on the benefits of Cold Air Intakes. My understanding of fuel system is as follows:- Fuel and air ratio is by mass/weight not by volume, hence the colder the air the denser the air. More air means more fuel can be added keeping the same air/fuel ratio. More fuel means more...

    Acura can't duplicate key

After reading through this thread, I am glad that I have a '94. There is nothing fancy about the key and I got a free wallet card key from AAA.

    Changing demographics of NSX owners?

    57. Brought my ’94 in 95. Original owner. Car just turned over 50,000 miles. Most reliable car I ever have. Replaced the water pump, head gasket, new CV boots, slave clutch cylinder and all the hoses in the engine bay area at 45,000 miles. Autowave did a nice job. The bill was a little bit...

NSX Down due to part unavailible NEED HELP

If the factory bolt has rolled thread, a new bolt done by CNC machine would get you a bolt with cut threads, which is inferior in strength to a bolt with rolled thread. I would get the specification of that bolt and check with bolt manufacture. Honda most likely purchased this bolt from a...

    Driving schools?

I did the Bondurant High Performance Driving Course many years ago. Bondurant is at Chandler, Arizona. I have to say it was the most fun activity that I ever had. The tour of the circuit in a van was definitely exciting. The course taught the students some basic techniques including how to...

    NSX keyless entry

Don’t know if your ‘98 has a remote or not but I have remotes for my ’94. When I purchased mine in ’95, I asked the dealer to install it. It was a dealer installed option. I think the remote is the same as the ones that were used by Legend. Here is a picture of my remotes with the covers...

Oil & Air Filters Bargains and they may be OEM

http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPages/NOLMaster.aspx?PageId=430&CatId=1&SubCatId=3 I just went to NAPA and check on filters for a ’94. I could not find the filters that you guys were talking about. The site list Pro Select, Gold and Ultra oil filters. May be I am looking at the wrong stuff...
