My 1991 has 20K original miles and the battery drains in about 4 weeks if not driven. I haven't found the problem but I installed a battery cut off switch and use it when the car will not be driven for several weeks.
Could be mice. I think it is a short somewhere because the battery should not have been completely drained in 6 weeks. I may look at the cable reel because my SRS light is on and the SRS fuse blows when I put a new one in. Will also try horn relay.
Yes, I have an alarm. But the alarm activates all three horns, the lights and I believe will not let the engine start. I used my key in both doors to deactive the alarm but that didin't help.
The battery died while my 1991 NSX was in storage. I charged the battery and when i connect it i hear a clicking sound from the CCU area and if i turn the ignition on the incab horn sounds. The car will start and run, the other horns don't sound, and the lights don't flash.
