We'll have to get together before the season is over. I'm in Niagara Falls with a black '91. I have some Advan Model 7's if you like 7 spoke wheels. I'm considering black rims at the moment.
Congrats!
Randy
Looks like everyone had a good time....unfortunately things had come up that prevented me from making it out....:frown:....I'll try to make it out before the summer is over....
I kind of like the Bendpak flush mount lift. Either the low lift which is about the same price or the full rise lift. I'd be a little leery of a portable lift with my car too far in the air. But maybe there's more to it that i didn't see.... I'm getting old after all...
Out of curiosity does anyone know if the number 8 right after the MT in the VIN indicates the car was destined for Canada? I've noticed that most cars in the States typically have a 0 after the transmission designation and Canadian cars seem to have an 8.
Yes I am. We'll have to get together when the weather gets better. I'll give them a call to see what they can do for me. Thanks to everyone for the feed back. As always it is greatly appreciated.
Happy New Year all!
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a company that refinishes wheels. My wheels have some curb rash plus miscellaneous other marks that I'd like to get repaired. While I'm at it I'd like to change the colour since some of the chrome finish is also starting to...
I used Appreciated Vehicle Appraisals in Calgary when I bought my car last year. Scott Hobbs was the gentleman that appraised my car for my insurance company. The insurance company had no complaints or questions about the appraisal.

I'm in the process of replacing my door speakers as well. I'm planning on installing the sound deadener on the door skin behind the speaker opening. I haven't figured how much to install, but I'm thinking I'll start with the area right behind the speaker opening. Next I was going to do the...
I'm mounting my crossovers in the trunk because the speaker manufacturer didn't recommend mounting the crossovers in the door. While it may not make a noticeable difference in the sound quality, you'd never know unless you're willing to wire the speakers both ways, I personally believe it makes...
See you've proved my comment. The speaker wire discussion continues. My main reason for running the wires was to eliminate connections between the amp and the speakers, and while I could have used the stock wiring or smaller gauge wiring I figured since I'm going to the trouble of running...
With a bit of work I was able to get 2 pairs of 14 AWG speaker wire through the door boots. This wire is nothing fancy just plane speaker wire. I had contemplated using 4 conductor cable and this probably would have worked and made a cleaner install with fewer cables being run. Definitely...
Hey Guys,
Unfortunately I won't be able to make the winery tour this weekend because of other plans (and my car is apart because I'm replacing the stereo). A cruise in Sept would be good. Hopefully my car will be back together by then..
I'm replacing my dead Bose system and would appreciate any suggestions. I'm installing a 200 W amp in the trunk (4 x 50 W with 2 channels bridged or an Angus Sub). The door speakers are components and I'm planning on putting the crossovers in the trunk as well. I basically have 2 questions...
Well I finally had some time this weekend to work on my seats. The playing with the switch and the connectors didn't work so I removed the cable connecting the 2 rails together. Using a #2 Robertson screw driver i was able to get the seat moved forward so i could get the seat bolts. To...
I tried massaging the switch but I didn't have any luck getting the seat to move. Since I don't hear the motor trying to move the seat I'm thinking I'll have to take the interconnecting cable out that goes to each side and manually screw the seat forward.
Out of curiosity has anyone removed the...
