For my wife's automatic, I talked with Comptech and they said adding the CTSC would be no problem as long as the car wasn't being used for racing.

I tried the hesitation technique and it doesn't help at all. :frown: I'll try the synchromesh this weekend and post results.

My lid looks nothing like that. I have a flexible cover that has zippers on both sides, not a hardcover lid like in the pictures. Do I have an aftermarket cover, or did it change to this in a certain year?

I have both, and I love both of them. If you want an automatic, then go ahead and get one. It is a great car - stick or not.
