Keep at least some of the weave exposed. See how they did my wife's car with the carbon hood and deck. The center trunk and the fangs of the hood are clear coated with the weave exposed.

Drew, who do you use? Alan Apel at Empire Autohaus in Birmingham has been suggested here and he says he has changed timing belts, etc. Also he services Ferraris. He says he has a few NSX's that he services. Thanks.

It's probably due for timing belt. It has 94k miles and is a 1991. I know no service history on the car is the problem .
