the bore was straight. I checked rechecked and let another motor company check it. it was correctly bored. I'm going to resleeve the first block, and the plan is to make it a big bore NA motor out of that one, but since I still have a set of nice lo-comp pistons for 92mm bore attached to one set...

hi all, long story short, got my engine back in cardboardboxes from a rebuilding company that went out of business, and done the rebuilding myself. after putting it all together, i had some smoke (oil) from the number 6 cylinder. after removing the head (its tested ok) and the piston (seems ok)...

thanks for your help Chris, I have now removed the intake, and found visible traces of oil on the intake valves (both of them) and there was oil on the spark plug on that cylinder. there is traces of oil all´the way up to the intake gasket, do you think it can have swirled up there? i gonna take...
