Without launch control, the NSX was much faster at the start. I actually thought the NSX was given a head start but that wasn't the case.

They seem to be pretty close in performance but even with the handicap, the GTR Nismo edged out the NSX in the end.
That's pretty much what I expected as N/A cars lose power at higher altitudes. The race took place at 5000km above sea level. It goes to show that turbo cars are the way to go if you live at high altitudes.
Of course the aftermarket can boost the hp by a substantial amount. Honda would not do it themselves.
