I don't care if they put the engine on the roof as long as it's 50/50 and V10 and looks anything close to as sharp as the first generation (actually it wouldn't look too sharp with the engine on the roof but you get my point).

If this is the case, then the new NSX is going to be as rare as the original, because very few people are going to be willing to buy that! Like the original, I'd much rather wait a couple of years, and get a well taken care of one at a much lower price.

If the new NSX is out before '09 model year, I will be shocked. Call me a pessimist.

I would say if it's a steal, buy the car. There are manual NSX's out there to be bought, you just have to find them.

Thanks emdoller, I believe they are from leatherseats.com. They also have some with "NSX" sewn into the headrests. I've been very happy with these so far. They run a lot of sales on eBay. Do a search on NSX Leather Seats, and they may have some up for auction.

I can't understand the picture of the engine, and why the trunk is so yellow. On the other thread, the poster said it was the sun, but I don't think I've ever seen red turn that yellow. Having said that, the inside of the engine bay is red, so maybe it is.

I don't mean to throw salt on a wound, or sound like a jerk, but it just goes to show how careful buyers need to be, and that you get what you pay for. I'll never again apologize for the price I have set my '93 at, because I KNOW what a new owner would get (if I indeed pull the trigger to sell).
