I love my nsx even more now.

That is the program key. You need it to program "new" keys. If you get new keys cut the dealer will ask you for the red key. If you dont have it they cant program the key to your car.

Thanks all, I do have the oem shop manual. I work at honda (not acura) for the past 7 years. (tech) Never have worked on a nsx. I have 4 full days, but if more time is needed Ill have to move the car out, till the next weekend. (hope not) I will probably need a few pointers along the way...

Me too, i just got a rsx shift knob kit (08u92-s6m-200a) It has a few peices. Didn't have a chance to install it yet. Want to get a shifter boot to match. Just went to the 1/4 mile track. Did not race my car but just went to the track with the wife, to check it out. After about 20 min, there were alot people around the nsx. I was getting worried. My wife and I decited to stay with the nsx. There were lots of very nice comments. I had to smile...

Thanks for letting me vent. Just spoke to my wife and she was nice enough to calm me down. It was just a guy with a bad day hating on me. Thats ok, just drove the nsx with the wife, nothing better. Just love the nsx. Thanks again. geo
