50% discount on track time (CA)

Hi, I’m happy to announce that we have two NSX’s registered for Monday’s Thunderhill event. We also have a few interested in Infineon on November 20th. As we have reached our goal of enjoying an NSX at speed, we will not be extending the 50% offer for 2012. I can’t wait until Monday! We...

50% discount on track time (CA)

Sorry but must be driving an NSX. There are a few other cars that I might consider that I have not seen at the track in the last 12 months: Lambo (Had our first 458 at the track this month). ZR1 (never seen one at a track - I mean the new one) Ford GT Boss 302 (new one) New Camaro - Gen. 5...

50% discount on track time (CA)

As a previous owner of an NSX, I’m a fan. I’m also president of a track organization in Northern California. We run at Infineon, Laguna Seca, Thunderhill and Buttonwillow. We have not had an NSX at a track event in years. I understand that saving 50% will not entice anyone to track their...

ABS Unit making pumping noise more frequently....please help

I had the same problem at 150K miles. Pulled the fuse so that I wouldn’t have to hear the sound again. Now the light comes on after 30 seconds but no sound. Of course, I no longer have ABS but it wasn’t something I needed in my previous 20 years of driving, so I probably don’t need it now...

Do any of you plan on keeping the NSX forever?

No way! I'm already starting to lust for a replacement after about 9 years of ownership. Sorry but no car (out side the Ford GT) can keep my attention for more than 10 years. I have a 1991 and would consider buying a newer version or a non-NSX but the 1991 is getting old and I don't like...

    NSX daily driving...

Every Day - 168,000 miles! I've personaly put about 100K of them on the car. In a few years, I'll need to buy a newer car. I'll sell it somewhere around 190,000 miles and then upgrade....

You must read your complete policy to see if you’re covered. Don’t trust your agent because he probably doesn’t know.

    nsx vs 348 spyder

348 isn't that great. A 355 is a nice car. Not as well designed as the NSX but better looking (in my opinion) and sounds better. You can't get past the "cool" factor either. Any Ferrari prior to the 355 is just for people who just want to drive the name....

Drove a F355...My driving impressions compared to NSX

The 355 should be a little faster than an NSX. The 348 should be a little slower.

wrong place at the wrong time??

I think that asking to close a thread is uncalled for. It happened and we are discussing it. I take my NSX to the track at least once a year. What will people be requesting next? Perhaps they want us to destroy evidence of what happened? This is a public site. I'm sorry that any cars were...

How Well do 10+ year old NSX's hold up? Common problems?

Mine is driven daily. I'm at 160K. No issues but hoses and clutch before 120K. At about 150K I had to replace CV, starter and ABS died.

    ABS, what to do now?

Is there a year of NSX that doesn't have the screeming noise?

My ABS light comes on but no issue with the TCS light.

    ABS, what to do now?

The NSX was my first ABS car and it isn't the best system in the world. For a 1991 it's a great system but compared to today's systems it's not that great. In fact, I probably won't buy another early car because of the ABS. When faced with expensive repairs I just pulled the fuse. No ABS, No...

    NSX or GT3 or C6 Z06

If track perferformance is more important than street, then Z06. It will beat all those other cars and still get you home. I'm facing the same decission in 2009. I just don't have the GT-3 on the list. It will come down to the 2002 NSX and Z06.

    NSX's Private party value?

I can't comment on the value of a modified car. That depends on how much a buyer likes the modifications. However, on valuing a relatively stock NSX, here are the steps I would take: 1. Look at KBB to get their take on the car. You can use this value to talk down someone on price. 2. Do a...

    My NSX vs Ford GT

Sports cars are so subjective. I still want a Ford GT. There is a group of people in our racing club that own a Ford GT as well as a ZO6. They said that the Z06 was easier to drive fast on the track and certainly more suited as a daily driver. Now I can't afford a Ford GT. If I can't pay...
