It all depends on the temperature the location uses to bake them. You want a shop familiar with wheels so they use a low temperature process. The lower the temp the less chance of the wheel being weakened.

I didnt know either. Just threw those two finishes out there as they are popular and wanted to show examples. My suggestion would be towards a brush finish as it usually appeals to a larger audience than full polish or chrome. Next best is a nice sparkling gunmetal :)

I dont want to ruin the OP's thread. I was only referring to your comment of it being fake carbon which it is not. The wheels have an aluminum core but the overlay is real carbon which even even needs to be put in a vacuum for the resin to settle. I am not sure what others you have seen but...

It is an overlay but it is 100% real carbon fiber.

I forgot to weight them before they left but if I recall the rears weigh in at 21lbs so they are pretty darn light.
