My car came from Oklahoma. One of the previous owners was getting it serviced at Don Carlton Acura in Tulsa. I don't know how far that's from you though.

I can't suggest any shops as I'm fairly new to the area, but you could just remove that lower piece for now - that's the route I took for the time being. Almost nobody will even notice (and that goes for about half of the nsx owners too).

That's actually why I'll be missing the drive - I listened to my inner red neck and have tickets for the entire thing (fri-sun)

Can we have an update on this? All I'm hearing from USAA is that they DON'T cover any sort of track activity anymore. Maybe I'm just asking the wrong questions?

Yea I stopped by Concord Acura just to say hi. Turned right around when they started saying things like oil changes and alignments were more $$ because nsx.

I've worked out an arrangement with someone at my uncles HOA that is renting me one of their parking spaces, so no street parking for me. I wouldn't have brought it out otherwise. And I ended up just having a few things done at Oakland Acura (that's where I met Ray) - just oil change, wheel...

Sounds like a solid plan to me. Isn't the meet going to have a C&C feel to it, at least the first part before the caravan? Should be plenty of time to check out cars? There's another discussion going on about this on the FB group as well.

Have we decided if/when we're meeting up before hand?

I'm down for a caravan. I definitely won't be the cleanest car in the bunch, but that'll just let everyone else outshine me :wink:

Another question for you guys. Oakland Acura is only a handful of blocks from where I work. Has anyone dealt with them? Seems like a pretty convenient place to get at least the minor stuff taken care of. Ya'll have mentioned Hillside, Shad, and Fremont Acura before but not a word about the...
