RICKE this is great. Thank you so much. I am actully leaning towards going wtih the new AUTOFLEX line they rolled out. I will circle back when I make the move!. Either if I do it myself or if I opt to just pay for the work. More to come
Sorry for going MIA there for a bit. I have not made any progress with my project as life has been chewed up by the kids recently. So I have been just driving and enjoying the car. What has changed though is the price of RAAIL has come down to $300 for a car kit. I may go that route now as...
Very Nice. I actually got a great deal on a pair of 17/18 Work Equip wheels from a new NSX owner and prime member. Super excited to put them on this weekend. But DAMN these Bathurst wheels look really sharp
I do not know know them, personally but my guess is they may be prime members. Here is a nice video about some NSX owners and their cars.

Black NSX F1, There seems to be some r12 in the area for sale. Check craigslist. Here you go!. http://boston.craigslist.org/search/sss?sort=priceasc&query=R12 The r12 works fine. No need to go through the whole rigamarole.
I reached out to Boston Dip and Detail in Walepole, MA they do RAAil and can color match the R77 formula red pretty close (they said).
The quote was $1,800 for a full gloss RAAIL spray. "NSX's despite their size are quite the project. Lots of things to remove and mask."
Reasonable quote...
So I have been doing my research and I think I am going to the Plati dip route. I am purchasing a Wagner HLPV and going either black & blue or Red. For the total price I am looking at under $500 for all the needed materials. I will document the process once I get going. Maybe a little video...
Wow.....that is a crazy looking. Very artistic. Thanks all for the feedback. I am looking at $630 for the wrap and $800 for the install (no removal of panels, is the only catch). My car is just rough that any way I go should make it look a little bit better even if it is a temporary thing...
I have peeling clear coat from a weathered 91 NSX. It also has a few dings. Will Vinyl adhere and stay on the car if the clear coat is gone in some parts and the paint is a little rough to the touch? If not, what type of prep work would you advise.
With body work and a proper paint job I am looking at $7000. For Plasti Dip I am looking at $500. For a wrap and installation, I am probably looking at $1,200. I was orginally leaning towards the vinyl wrap to have for the next 2 years and then do the paint job but then I learned about the...
I have been slowly restoring a 91 NSX and all it needs is body work now. Doing a full repaint right now would kind of wipe me out but I want to spruce it up a bit. As the clear coat is gone in some spots, I am not sure that a Vinyl wrap would work as well. So I am considering going the plasti...
Mechanics direct up in Lowell, MA is very familiar with the car. But they are not cheap. There is a kid in my town, Beverly, MA who has been doing vinyl wraps for a couple of years now. I may actually get my NA1 wrapped this spring. His name is Mike and (Freestyle wraps) 978-836-9793 and he...
Any advice for me with the Kojin wheels. I love them and want to add them to my 91 NSX. My car is 100% stock. Do I need spacers? I like the 17/18 set up. Thanks for your help as I would like to purchase them soon, going into spring
You'll be back...........they always come back!!! Good luck with the GTR. Enjoy. Thanks for all your help and guidance with my restoration / rescue!

Best of Luck. I have restored my 91 NSX that was in a driveway for 10 years. I have Joe P on deck for some body and paint work in the near future (Bring it back to its previous exterior bearuty) With that said the car runs awesome and they will bury me in it. No way I am every selling this...
