As an outsider to this sale I want to point something out. RC-Devil posted a picture of the ECU with the screws and sticker on one side intact. Ravi posted one without stickers and the screws are stripped. It looks like it traveled from the US to Canada based on the locations in the profiles. Is...
Does anyone know who rickybobby on Bring A Trailer is? He posted a comment in the Zanardi auction about an NA2 coupe possibly coming up sooner than you think. I'd like to know more about the car if anyone has any information on it.
Are you sure that the rears are 8" wide? A 265 tire would normally go on a much wider rim. Did you have any issues with rubbing? I will be putting them on a car with stock suspension. I am interested, but I will need them shipped to Denver.
If you throw out the $1.2M charity auction for the first NC1 out, what is the most expensive NSX (NA1, NA2, NC1) ever sold in the US? Could the BaT auction for Zanardi #51 end up as the most expensive NSX ever sold in the US to date? I know a couple NA1-Rs were recently imported and the NC1...
I completely agree with this. Plus, they are getting harder and more expensive to insure. We are going to reach a point where its too expensive for a lot of current owners to drive them. Or they will be forced to drive them under-insured.
Based on the comment section in BaT, I think enough...
That bolt going into the rocker in pictures 276 and 277 told me that something was fixed in that area. Unless the its something special to the Zanardi there should not be a big bolt there. Its hard to tell from that if it was hit hard enough to bend the frame or if was just a low speed scrape...
Do NA2 coupe owners have a price it would take them to sell the car? For example, if someone offered you $200,000.00 for your car would you sell? $200k could get you into a newer super car or a less rare NSX with money left over. Or is it a car you would never sell? I ask because at the rate the...

It would be great to see one of these on Bring a Trailer or a public auction. Its been awhile since one publicly sold. That makes it hard to establish a value for insurance purposes.
Just in case you missed out on the Amelia Island car. Bring a Trailer has another option.

It's based off my impressions of watching the cars that get posted for sale here and other sites. Maybe my impressions are a little skewed because the 02+ do not get listed that often. This one definitely benefited from being completely stock and low miles. It was a perfect car for someone...
Silver is nice and the millage was low (but not that low), but for that kind of money I would rather have an NA2 couple or Zanardi. The 02+ cars seem to be real popular right now. its amazing the premium they command given the that the updates were mostly cosmetic and convenience items.
Thanks Old Guy. It was drained to the point where the car would not start and the voltmeter in the gauge cluster showed ~8 volts after a week. I started fine when I jumped it from the fuse panel in the back. It did go dead while plugged into a 1.25A battery tender. I did consider the possibility...
My 97 is having battery drain issues after sitting for a week. So I wanted to see if anyone had ideas. Here is what I tried so far.
1. Took the battery to Oreilly and Batteries Plus. It passed the voltage and load tests at both places.
2. Put it back in the car and wired in my multimeter to...
I agree with @NYCNSX. Either the VIN listed for the 2001 Red/Black is wrong or there are more 2001 Red Coupes than the Production Number Wiki reports. This thread has JH4NA21391T000259 and his purchase thread has JH4NA21311T000076. According to the VIN decoder both are valid 2001 VINs.
Looks like I fat fingered the VIN for the Black 1997. It should be JH4NA2133VT000313. Can we add this one to the list? I can verify as of Jan 2019 it still exists.
There is a 1997 Berlina Black / Black with a 6sp in the Denver, CO area. The VIN is JH4NA22133VT000313. The car is listed in the Production Numbers Wiki, but it did not show up on your list.
