Longest member without an NSX - finally gets one!

Now hold up....I sold my S2000 to buy my NSX....only to buy another S2000 later. Now I have both, and all is right with my world. I stare at them in the garage every day. Ahhhh.... Even saying that... if the right NSX comes along at the right price and you have to move on it, do it. There...

Question about the which models of the Gen1 NSX has C32B engine in it

That is correct. All NSXs 1997-2005 had C32B and 6MT, except automatics, which remained with the C30 from 1991-2005.

17/17 and 17/18 Tire Choices - not much left.

Thanks again! I am primarily a street driver and I really only track my NSX at NSXPO.

17/17 and 17/18 Tire Choices - not much left.

@stuntman No, I would not mix tires like that. I have a set of Model V wheels with Indy 500s that I've been running, and had planned to keep for long distance trips to NSXPO. I bought a new set of RGIIIs with specs as noted above, for local use, and am trying to choose stickier tires with...

17/17 and 17/18 Tire Choices - not much left.

Any report on wet performance with the CEC Force, @docjohn ? I'm thinking of going 225/40/17 front and 275/35/18 in the rear if I use these. I just secured a set of Advan RGIIIs, 17x8 38 front and 18x10 35 rear. I'm saving my Model Vs with Indy 500s for distance travel, so I can go with...

Topgear article on the most beloved 90’s JDM car 2024

I thought for sure the R32 would have won. Glad the NSX still has some relevance.

    Official Kaiser Silver thread

As I stated above, I heard from a product planner for the NSX, via a query directly put to them by a fellow Primate who knew them. They apparently did not consider this information. I can’t get more direct than that. They also mentioned that the yellow color was originally going to be Senna...

    Market Assessment

I am somewhat in the market for a base NC1, so this video is timely. Looks like a level-headed appraisal. I really want a Type S, but as in the video they are just insanely priced. Most realistic is a high optioned 2017 for me. We’ll see as I’m clearly not in a hurry.

    Official Kaiser Silver thread

I asked on FB NSX Prime almost four years ago. A Primate knew someone who was with Acura product planning when the NSX was released and he asked. Alas, he told me that “Kaiser” was just randomly decided as a word that sounded cool to the Japanese team members. So…it means nothing.

I just responded to you on Instagram. I am doing a happy dance for you! Wow wow wow! Welcome to the NSX fam. Merry Christmas too! You’d better get to a NSXPO sometime.

Grom iphone integration not working with new iphone 15?

I use the newer version of the Grom BT module in my S2000, having just installed it a few weeks ago. It’s the same one that you would install in a NSX. It works fine with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, including charging.

    NSXPO 2023 pics

If you are not on social media, you’re missing most of the pics from NSXPO. Here’s a few I took yesterday. I did not attend the track day Thursday because of work, and I arrived at Atlanta Motorsports Park at lunchtime. I then drove to the event hotel. The Atlanta team has nicely organized...

    Acura Integra Type S

FL5 definitely has a bigger ADM than the DE5. The DE5 seems a better deal when ADM is taken into account. I suspect Acura will build as many as people order, too.

    Acura Integra Type S

I bought one and took delivery on Thursday. Is it an old ‘teggy? No. However, it’s been an awesome car nevertheless. The hype about the driving experience is accurate. Shifter is amazing, better than my already good NSX shifter, not quite as good as the S2000, which I consider the pinnacle...

    2023 Honda Indy 200

I was at the race on the Sunday, as part of the Ohio S2KI crew. We did a parade lap, during which I drove Agustin Canapino around the track in my S2000. Super fun!

Interesting NSX for sale in Connecticut

The 1G NSX market has passed its peak for now. He’s not getting $150k for that. I personally like the car, but RHD + 4AT in the USA market = not unmolested 2002-05 money. Who knows, maybe the market will catch up to him again?

SAKEBOMB GARAGE FPSpec Long-Stroke Ohlins DFV - ON SALE for April 2023!

I had no issues with ride height adjustment. I have their premade Grand Touring setup. The guy who installed mine lowered mine significantly. In fact, I had to raise the car. Here’s my current ride height, which is right (to me) for Cleveland roads: I adjusted my rear damping a couple of...

New Owner! Brookland Green Bell Bi-Turbo

I have been running the SOS TT kit for three years and nearly 20k miles with minimal difficulty, and there are others on the forum who have triple the miles on the kit. I run it with high flow cats. I live in an area where emissions checks are required, but since I have a collector’s plate, I...
