    Why no tuning options?

Apparently you may not realize that literally every other performance car out there has some type of aftermarket tune. In most cases it drastically increases power or forced induction vehicles.

You should be fine with the gen 2 auto. I was just joking and prefer the 6 speed manual. The dual clutch in the gen 2 is an amazing transmission.

I have a real man transmission (6 speed manual) so I dont have to worry about the transmission.

R8 maintenance cost is minimal. I have owned a gen 1 v10 for years and a good friend owns a gen 2. Think about this. With r8 less things to go wrong. 1 engine unlike nsx where you have way more moving parts and still an unproven long term platform for reliability. I'm not saying a gen 2 nsx is...

The gen 2 NSX is an awesome car but I believe the gen 2 R8 is better (you cant go wrong either way). I strongly suggest you test drive both. I wouldnt even consider the LC500.... different animal and same with the Z06 (corvettes are everywhere). If you want the absolutely fastest car in a...

Sorry but the nsx is just as tight as the r8 inside and maintenance cost are also very close.

    Why no tuning options?

    Why no tuning options?

Understandable. Hopefully though someone will eventually release a tune. I think it would put the cars performance in a different segment.

    Why no tuning options?

I emailed them about 6 months ago and they told me the same.... It's almost like no one wants to release a tune for fear another vendor will copy it...

    Why no tuning options?

This is the only thing back from buying a gen 2 nsx. It's rediculous the car has been out this long and no one offers options. I bet a 93 or e85 tune would really wake it up!
