    Oxygen Sensors - Install

yup sure did. I coated the secondary threads with copper based anti-seize. The NTKs actually came with a small tube of it. I was all ready to hit the old sensors with PB Blaster and maybe some heat but they came out real easy. I’m pretty sure when the time comes for the primary it won’t be so easy.

    Oxygen Sensors - Install

oh yeah I got a good look at the primaries. My car only has 47k miles so here’s hoping they stay good for awhile, but from what I’ve read it’s a matter of time.

    Oxygen Sensors - Install

Bump an old thread. Just want to say this was extremely helpful. Thank you all who contributed if you’re still around. I bought the NTK 02 secondary sensors (pair) from science of speed, paid $14 for an autozone O2 sensor socket and got it all done. I was getting a P0141 Bank 1 Secondary sensor...

    OEM size tires

I just bought some Yokohama Advan V107 Fleva in 215/40/17 and 255/40/17. It's a discontinued tire but there's still plenty of backstock. Discount Tire can get it.

    Thoughts on this car?

I tried talking to the owner. Some guy name Miguel. He was not very helpful at all and basically gave me a ‘the car is available do you want it or not’ attitude. He wouldn’t answer any of my questions regarding the car. I would move on.

Anyone recognize this particular Gen 2?

The car itself is already telling you a story. I think you know the answer to your questions. If these things are an issue then it’s best to move on

    1998 NSX coupe Yellow/Black 6-Speed 62,500 mi JH4NA2165WT000230

Wow good price for those looking for one at this price point. It’s even got me temped to pick up a second one. Decent NA2s don’t come on the market much.

***STICKY*** Gen1 NSX Current Market Analysis

No doubt. I’ve been watching all the auctions, including that 2005 yellow/yellow with 11k miles that sold for $133k on the Porsche auction site. I too finally picked up a good car through a private seller. It’s sad to see that a lot of the BAT cars went to dealers who are trying to flip because...

***STICKY*** Gen1 NSX Current Market Analysis

As a person who has been actively searching and recently bought a NA2, I do feel BAT prices are a little bit bloated. Outside of auctions you have list price and selling price. There has been a consistent $5-15k deviation in favor of the buyer. BAT is more advantageous to sellers because of the...

    Maintenance shop in Sacramento

I just bought a car from the Sacramento area (from Texas) and took it to Shad. This guy is the real deal. He’s like the NSX whisperer. I spent 2 days at his shop and he really went out of his way to help me. I wish he was local to me. I would recommend him over any dealership

Looking for a NA2 Clean title No accidents preferred (paintwork). Prefer All VINs, would consider 1 missing if accident repairs were properly documented and accident light. Clean title Prefer under 100k miles, over will consider the right car. No turbo or SC 6spd No real budget. Will pay for...

Looking for an NA2 Serious Buyer

I am looking for a NA2 (1997-2005). I’m 50/50 on the fix vs pop up lights so either is good. I’m willing to travel for the right car. no prior force induction 6spd No major accident history (all VINs) clean title mileage ideally 50-80k. I would consider higher mileage if the car is well...

    2002 NSX-T Yellow/Yellow 6-Speed 57836 JH4NA216X2T000136

I was able to spend some time with the car and owner. This is a very clean and well taken care of car that needs absolutely nothing. The owner is a very cool guy and easy to deal with. The Type R hood is probably one of the best that I’ve seen. The exterior paint and interior are in excellent...

Yeah according to the auction, estimated repairs were around $50k. Doesn't appear that $50k worth of work was done. The gaps and the paint are horrible. That interior is still nice and clean though. Really a shame. I just couldn't help but update this thread when I saw it.

Wow I've been shopping for a new gen 1 NSX. I love Prime. There's so much history here to verify information. Looks like this car went straight to auction, was fixed, and up for sale again. I could tell there was rear end work done but this thread basically uncovered the curtains. Same VIN...
