The owner claims this engine has been rebuilt with twin turbos and direct port nitrous. He says a minimum of 600 rwhp is attainable. Sounds like wishful thinking to me, but maybe the NSX aftermarket has evolved since I got out of it in 2000...
Here are some highlights I put together of a recent import car show in Seattle: http://www.racingflix.com/getvideo.asp?v=86
There is a silver widebody NSX at about the 2:32 mark of the video. Anyone recognize this car? I couldn't get close enough to it to see what mods it has...
This guy is just an amazing driver. I can't get enough of watching him in both the Touring and GT series.
Anyone know the specs on his NSX?
I'm guessing it's a 3.2 liter Comptech S/C'd 6 speed. There's obviously some major weight shaving, huge brakes, and suspension work. But how different...

Anyone familiar with this car or know the specs. This is the quickest I've seen, short of Adam's Surawatari's Frankenstein NSX.

Steve Kamis hopes to build a 1500 horsepower 1974 Corvette that is equal parts road car and drag racer. He decided 1 Whipple supercharger (the unit used in the Comptech NSX kit) wasn't enough. He claims to be spending $10,000/month on the project. Amazing stuff...
I regret selling this car...

I was in stop and go traffic. Two guys in a Ranger kept looking over at my car. The pickup in front of them stopped, and they didn't. Bang!
I feel a bit guilty. I'm always looking around when I drive too. It could have been me.
One thing I've noticed about having a flamboyant, red car...
I test drove a 993 turbo yesterday. Well, I never got to drive it, actually. He was a classic Porsche-file:
1. His 4th 911
2. Believes anything non-Porsche is inferior
3. Believes God intended engines to be placed behind the rear axle.
In trying to convert me to the religion of Porsche...
Disregard...Comptech has come through and provided the chip. Thanks again to Comptech!

I'd like to bump my rev limiter up to 8500. And, if possible, optimize ECU settings for my supercharger (I know Comptech says the stock ECU is optimized, but there MUST be room for improvement). Does anyone burn custom ECU's for the NSX?

The subject of the black top look versus all-one-color came up in the main forum, which reminded me of this unique NSX on Ebay a few months ago:
It's not for everyone, but I personally like this look.

A little background on my problem first. I buy a s/c NSX (see signature) and it's SLOW. Turns out it has a Dinan chip which could be causing detonation. I remove the Dinan and it's FAST. A bearing breaks in the s/c and the s/c is replaced by Comptech (the part was free--more about Comptech...
I have a four day weekend coming up, and I've decided I want to go to California to upgrade my vehicular condition. The options are:
a. Go to Comptech in Sacramento and upgrade my 6 pound supercharger to a 9 pound.
b. Fly to San Diego and buy a '93 Viper RT/10 with 40k miles and a hardtop...
Anybody have the 9 lb. kit? Comptech wants me to drive to Sacramento and pay $1100 for a pulley and injectors. I'll do it, if someone can confirm it's worth it.

I just came accross this car today: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=477807976&r=0&t=0
It's an impressive car, but $65k is not reasonable, given the milage.
