Sorry for the delay in responding! My husband booked our Tokyo hotel (Shinagawa Prince) in mid-April at the same time that we were booking our United flights. We chose from one of United's hotel offers at the time. The $91 is the room cost per night & then there is a $18 taxes/fees charge...

Dave & I booked our coach class direct non-stop San Francisco-SFO to Tokyo-NRT 9 hr flights in early April on United w/a combination of miles & $.
