Thanks Steve, Thats pretty much what I did. I found some body clips in the parts room of my shop from a BMW. It had the basic shape I just had to use a dremmel to cut it down and notch it just so. Made 4 of them. Also there are 2 rubber stops on the slide that I cut and formed from toyota engine...

Anyone have a broken window regulator with good plastic slides they would like to sell. Hate to pay $650.00 for new regulator if I can buy these slides or a regulator used.
