    I confess! - A true story

I have to come clean to be healed. In 48 years of working on cars that I've owned --- I have never replaced the crush washer on the oil drain bolt. Ever. Never had a leak either. Ever. There I've come clean.

NSX shown on NBC coverage of the Detroit Auto Show

NBC coverage of the international auto show in Detroit actually showed the NSX, indicated the correct yearly production numbers and said "Here's the Acura NSX which looks like a concept car". It was shown right after the RL. What a concept.

Nothing fancy but it sure is sweet!

I've finished most of my install of a new set of door speakers and amp. (Infinity Kappa's component, Hifonics 4400). I used D'Ecosse's speaker plates which work out great. I'm using the stock head unit and the 804/805 connector harness that I fabricated. I ran the speaker wires on the left...

    New owner in MD/DC/VA area

A proud "new" owner of a 2000 Silverstone NSX in Maryland. Hello to all and hope to catch a social occasion or two with other like minded  folks. Before anyone asks or gives me the business, yes I put on the front license plate (don't like Mr. Ticket) but in my defense I made the...

    Center armrest question (2000)

I just got a 2000 year NSX and I've never seen another one with the split center armrest. When I lift up the 2 pieces of the armrest (one lifts to the front, the other to the rear) all I have is two shallow compartments maybe a 1/4" deep under the covers. Is that all that is there? Why were...

    CD Connector Confusion revisited

After getting a 2000 NSX in need of a cd player I dutifully read all the threads and the FAQs about putting the Alpine chm-6xx player in the car. My car did not have the install kit in the trunk so the CD connector is on the driver side (no extension cable to the right side of the trunk. I...

    Acura certified with aftermarket parts?

I'm looking at a supposed Acura certified 2000 NSX from an Acura dealer but I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen one (just off lease) with Tubi exhaust and GruppeM monster air box? I find this hard to believe that Acura would warrant such items or for that matter a car with those items on it...
