ALMS Lime Rock - Photos

Spent the day yesterday melting at Lime Rock on one of the hottest days ever experienced there. Saw a couple of NSXs from Rhode Island parked in the "featured" area by the midway but don't know if they were owned by anyone here. Way too hot and humid to do full track coverage shots but here are a few before dehydration was setting in......

Nice to see that "couple" behind bars, finally... (first set, last photo)

Awesome photos, Bobby the O :biggrin: What a race. David Brabham was "doin' it" until Klaus Graf pushed him off the track. The flat tire suffered was quite unfortunate.
The BMW's were running hot all race. Risi F430 was out. One of our favorites, the silver Ford GT, you caught with the camera (Robertson's= drivers, out of Ray Twp, MI).
Countdown begins for Mid Ohio in two weeks, wifey is flagging all three days. I've got an infield parking pass, cannot wait to see Highcroft versus Cytofoul Musclejuice, and then the IRL cars on the road course on Sunday!

Great shots Bob, as usual. I see that Don and Carla are now sporting those funny chairs I was ridiculed for during our last track event...:biggrin: They do work to keep the sun off and fit in the NSX rather well.

Wish I could have gone, looked like a good race. Oh well maybe next year...

Couples are allowed to sit in funny chairs. Men without wives or girlfriends in tow are not.
That's a rule... it's in the WIKI...I'm pretty sure of it.:wink:

What would we do for fun if we couldn't bust on you for all your interesting acessories? Though I can tell you now that I will NOT be sporting a pink bag for my car tools. Not saying that you sport pink bags or anything, but . . .

BTW - I specifically requested a chair without the 'awning' top (visor-top?). I was forced to sit in it with the 'top' up and was threatened with physically harm if I didn't. I have the bruises to prove it.

You guys look soooooo cool in those chairs...

Somehow Don is in the shade and you seem to manage to get the sun shine despite the Visor-Top...:wink:
