Hey all Texans, I got an email a week ago from some spammer who somehow got my name / former address. I was kind of taken back because the spammer had somehow acquired my former address, and took a look at the email, which I normally never do.

Anyway, the spammer was trying to sell some type of business to me. I want this guy to stop spamming me.

The guy operates several websites or is involved is many schemes. I've been getting 2 -3 spams a day from this guy for various businesses, despite my emailing the idiot back, and calling his various phone numbers (from unpublished phone numbers) back telling him to stop it.

Here are a couple of his emails that I deleted today:

XXXX, it is Thursday again and you have a decision to make today before midnight PST that will effect the rest of your life.

You must upgrade to a member in Mangosteen Builders.com before tonight at midnight PST or you will LOSE the Top Spot you have right now.

Had you upgraded the first Thursday that you were in this, you would have already cashed a few checks by now! The more Thursdays you keep letting pass by the more and more you are losing and the further down you are moving.

The reason why Mangosteen Builders has created so many wealthy people XXXXX is because we have made this online system COMPLETELY automated.

Hundreds of thousands of people are on the Internet everyday looking for a business that they can run from their very own computer. Every 11 seconds someone opens a business on the Internet.

We have the ability to send these people to YOUR Mangosteen Builders website! Your website will do all the explaining FOR YOU, it will get everyone to upgrade FOR YOU, and it will even do all the training of your new members FOR YOU!

Now is the time to get in because business is BOOMING! Mangosteen Builders is the #1 online system on the internet today. We have broken every record in this industry and if growth rates continue on track, we will join Dell, Yahoo, and eBay as one of the fastest growing companies ever!

You owe it to yourself to take a look at this online business. This maybe exactly what you were looking for XXXX.

I guess I will have to get up early tomorrow (Sat) and give him a call. If 150 others from here did also, would that be my bad?

Usually an email to abuse@<his_isp> will help. Never ever email back a spammer, or go to their web link. It just tells them you're email is valid. If they remove you, they'll probably sell your info to someone else. :frown:
