I have a similar one to it, mine is the zv6000....and i thought i got an amazing deal when i got for $1000 when everyone else was paying $2000....

but $400 bucks for a laptop, including a dvd burner ..wow....

ha! i might just pick up the $400 laptop for the portable burner storage capability as my desktop caught on fire a while back

I need 10 of those laptops...
Khappi, got any ideas:smile:

I couldnt get the page to come up on the laptop but alot of these specials are limited to a few per store and its first come first serve.

Anyone remember last year when the lady was stampeded to death by a rush of customers trying to get into the store ?

Please note that the Walmart model is not quite per the spec you posted
- half the memory (256MB)
- smaller HD (40 GB)
- CD RW /DVD ROM (not DVD RW)

Still good value, just want to be sure everyone realizes what it is that is for sale

I don't doubt it, There were roughly 3-4 thousand people waiting to get in the Walmart close to me..
Fighting, trampling, cursing, you name it it was being done.
This was just while they were waiting in line...
It was also 19 degrees at the time.

Needless to say I took the scenic route and left the parking lot..

I am gunna be ther next year at 4, like GET THE F out of MY WAY!....Bring a airsoft or paintball gun to show i'm serious. Danny is gunna need some pointless crap to buy!

i was reading the newspaper at ~5:15 this morning and noticed that our local fry's had their sale from 5am this morning... after i finished my coffee & morning prep, i headed over to fry's... about 3/4 of a mile from fry's i notice there are cars parked in the parking lots of the surrounding businesses... and this is 3/4 mile away. so i keep heading down the road toward fry's and it's a mad house - 3 or 4 campbell pd directing traffic in the major intersection, cars going in and out of all the surrounding parking lots... and at the entrance door there were ~20-30 in the line *outside* the building... and beau coup people walking away from the place with bags of stuff.

not for me, so i headed into downtown campbell and had a cap & read the morning chronicle.

I went to best buy @ 5:00 am and when they opened the dorrs I just started running and I was one of the first 30 people in a skipped the 500 person line.I was third in the line for tv's..When I left there was about 100 hundred peolpe in the computer line....Crazyness all morning long...I would never sit in line for 5+ hours...
