I am currently installing these jrz rs and the lower perch (height adjuster) is hitting the arm. Please see picture.

Does anyone know what did I do wrong?

The better thicker body dampers all have this problem. I had the same issue with my Competitons from KW. I think if the arm is jacked up and the springs compressed, in other words the suspension is not in full droop, you will get more clearance. So you need to put a second jack and compress that wheel if you want to lower that perch more. another thing you can do is change the helper springs or remove them entirely. Use these helpers instead. They are made by hyperco:

^ Thanks, I was able to do what you said: Lower the perch by semi loading the car to gain clearance.

In another word, the perch will be hitting the control arm if my car gets air born or three wheeling.

Also, do you know which is the rebound setting, top or bottom?

sorry I do not. Contact the guy you bought them from.
