In my previous life I worked at Los Gatos Acura in CA (2000-2008). I ended up the NSX specialist, and eventually shop foeman after Gary left. I've always been a pack rat and hung onto parts I was hoping to need for my NSX that unfortunately hasn't happened.

I left in 08 for LE and really miss working on the greatest car made by man. I truly believe that. My belief is based on experience. Before LGA I was a tech next door at a place that sold used exotics. I've diagnosed, repaired and most importantly driven all the Italian and German stuff. My absolute favorite car ever was a customer's red (97?) Zanardi lic#TECHXXX with a comptech pusher and a pully smaller than allowed that I may have turned a blind eye to when I dyno smogged it. That car was so fast it scared me. No car had done that before. I'd like to mention doing cam plugs on a roots supercharged NSX is not all that fun. 😉

Enough about me.

I have some parts that I've been hanging onto and finally decided to sell. Just sold a ECM on ebay 2 weeks ago. I've sold parts here and ebay long ago (couple of transmissions and other misc books, rods etc). Now I'm tight on funds and a parent / small business owner.

Is there an appropriate place on here to ask for advice on what the value of some parts are currently? I haven't a clue what things go for now. I'm trying to be fair (not way over) but not price so low it seems suspicious (apparently that's an issue also).

If you read this entire post, thank you! I someday hope to become a better business man and be able to check the ownership box.

-Dave

Honestly the best way to do it is search the forums and FB for your part to see what others have recently sold for. We generally discourage the "how much is it worth" type threads because they usually turn into auctions and Prime is not an auction site.

That makes perfect sense. Thank you for the reply.
