The tire plug kits are a good option for a roadside repair. Only thing you'd need is some type of inflator (and they make inflators these days that can fit in your glovebox). Here's a video i did for the tire plugs--they're quite easy to use and hold up very well.
Ah, very interesting, I must have glossed over that part on SOS's website. Good to know they actually changed the dimensions for easy bolt on fitment for all of us lowly non-R owners
For 97+, you can still do a S2000 ABS unit as an alternative to the OEM 00+ unit.
I would get into an NA2 over an NA1 as long as you can handle the cost of entry. The gearing and engine are nicer. Nicer exhaust manifold, nicer interior, bigger brakes, bigger wheels, etc. Worth it to me. I got...
Nice alternative! That’s gigantic haha. I’m actually very happy with my tiny pump (lol) my garage is literally packed to the brim and I wouldn’t want to store this gigantic oily hose. I actually have a separate quart-pump for each car and fluid I use them for and I keep them in a zip lock bag to...
Thanks! True, a lot of transmissions have an internal magnet but unfortunately they can’t be cleaned (or checked) unless you crack the case open so magnet drain bolts were created so that you can check to see if excessive filings are being created while also allowing you to clean the magnet off...
Not sure for the nsx specifically but I’ve heard that typically HID projector housings are different for HID vs Non-HID due to the different size of the bulbs and amount of light output but again I don’t know if this applies to the NSX.
The aiming you’re talking about is partially what we’ve been referring to as the “cutoff.” I say partially because it's not only the aiming but it's also the shape of the stepped cutoff shield inside the projector housing that is LHD or RHD specific.
Unfortunately this is not an issue that can...
I'd bet the internals swap over, but I can't say for certain since I've not had a look at both side by side but I will say this: If you do end up with the JDM non-HID headlights, they won't have an opening at the bottom for the HID unit, so you're simply going to want to swap the championship...
Here are pics of mine when I took them off. The only part not pictured is the spacer or whatever it’s called, lowest “O ring” type thing that sits in the manifold. Mine was very plasticky feeling (not sure if it’s supposed to be like that or if it’s cooked rubber/silicon material).
@Wild Turkey, you inspired me to send my injectors in, so while I was removing the injectors I decided to do a video on the method I use to remove those annoying injector connectors.
