Hi Keith. Nice to meet you. Where is the car located? The shop foreman at gillman acura is very knowledgeable on the nsx. I also hear carboys is great. I am in the woodlands area
if you take out the other covers first you can rotate the rear cover 180 degrees and it will come out the top with the valve cover off. any questions feel free to give me a call
put the coils in and with the car running at idle start disconnecting the coils one by one. if the idle changes the coil is fine if there is no change then it is something with either that cylinder, coil, plug, injector or icm. do that then repost what the results were for further steps
chilton time for the clutch on the nsx is like 5-6 hours if a shop charges 10 hours you are getting screwed. you should be able to have the trans out in about an hour as long as you are not trying to pull the whole subframe. did everything go well? if you have any questions feel free to give me...
i have some new master cylinders here at home. as far as the leaks it could be cam plugs also. i usually see cam plugs leak and make it look like the rear main seal.
I am Dave. I believe the guy you are talking about is Josh Jacobs at John eagle. He is a service advisor and not a tech. If you are wanting to go thru a shop I now work at c&c's northside motors. Also known as track time performance. I still do some stuff on the side.
