and the competition steps it up already - there's a new McLaren & Lambo almost here..

performante is only £208k, makes an optioned up NSX at £165k look seriously expensive.

Glowing review in this months evo magazine

Despite having withdrawn my deposit following general disappointment with the car, I just wanted to let you know that this months UK EVO magazine has a long feature on the new NSX, another individual review which champions the benefits of a multiple day test to really get to know the car, rather...

NSX vs 2017 Nismo GTR Video

Those numbers are more interesting when you consider that the Nismo has 600ps but the 2008 car had 485. It's a little at odds with the drivers' comments that the NSX is a baby and is being compared to an evolved and mature GT-R, and yet the baby GT-R was still almost 0.5 seconds faster with...

991 Turbo, Nissan GTR and NSX

Just want to point out that mechanically, the NSX is effectively 2wd, so when it comes to launching its "drivetrain" is at far less risk from torque shunting than the 911 or GT-R. The rear wheels are connected to the engine only, too much torque and they spin at which point strain on...

    2017 Acura NSX vs. 2017 Nissan GT-R - Head 2 Head

ok, let's put the LFA and the GT-R aside, and consider another competitor. The R8. http://www.whatcar.com/news/new-honda-nsx-vs-audi-r8-verdict/ A nice simple review here. no frills, not overly wordy, just factual and to the point. Again, the NSX shows itself to be an excellent car, just not...

    2017 Acura NSX vs. 2017 Nissan GT-R - Head 2 Head

Actually fastaussie, much as I like the LFA noise, the 355 for me, is right up there.

    2017 Acura NSX vs. 2017 Nissan GT-R - Head 2 Head

Difference is the LFA does have a nice trump card. It's expensive but has one of the most beautiful sounding engines of all time with other worldly throttle response. It is an all time great and has held its value. The NSX is far better looking, I don't like the LFA to look at. Fyi the 2017...

    2017 Acura NSX vs. 2017 Nissan GT-R - Head 2 Head

Too many points in my head to formulate into an easy answer. The NSX was on paper exactly what I'd choose if given a clean sheet of spec. As a result I envisaged something that would be the ultimate performer in all areas. I expected it to raise the bar in performance, handling, efficiency...

    2017 Acura NSX vs. 2017 Nissan GT-R - Head 2 Head

Funnily enough that video prompted me to go and buy a 2017 GTR, which I did. By far the best incarnation of that car so far. Was expecting a crushing defeat of the GTR by the NSX and dissapointed to see it didn't deliver. I still hold my NSX place in the queue, but I remain 90% certain of...

    ScienceofSpeed Dyno Tests 2017 NSX

Ps. I am trying to get a car over to ecutek in the uk. They are about the best stock ecu hackers in the world. if this car can be modded to make more power, it could be seriously interesting. At the moment, the stock performance just isn't exciting for me.

    ScienceofSpeed Dyno Tests 2017 NSX

So nice to see a US tuner using a super flow dyno rather than the awful dynojet which is famously and intentionally inaccurate. can you please confirm when you say it made X power if you are talking about wheels or flywheel. The 500 ice horsepower quoted by the manufacturer is flywheel...

    NSX on The Grand Tour

It really does rain that much over here.

Why so many new NSXs for sale?

My problem was value. I thought the car was special, and I would forgive it its inability to dominate any one discipline other than the least sexy one - versatility, were it not for the ridiculous price. I know the GT-R gets no love on here, but it is half the bloody price. It's not half as...

    reviews are out

Think that's probably sensible advice. NSX still on order but I have another brand new gtr coming in two weeks at least until I have to decide.

    reviews are out

I think this is exactly how I feel distilled into a sound conclusion. Given the choice it has all the bits I would put into my idea of the perfect Supercar and yet its ingredients don't seem to result in a magical taste. Maybe there's a secret ingredient missing?
