I'm back with an update on my NSX. In short, the engine cranks, but just turns over and will not start.
Three weeks ago I removed the tank and carefully installed a new Denso fuel pump & new tank filter.
I briefly tested the new fuel pump for 1 second prior to installing it just to make sure...

Got the tank out in approx 2 hours. Tested the fuel pump 'per the service manual procedure' within the NSX and couldn't hear the pump running. Then tested it when the tank was removed and still no life in the pump. I should be installing the new Denso pump tomorrow.

The problem I am having today is, I cannot figure out how to disconnect the manual transmission shift linkage cables. I was hoping the service manual would show me the procedure. Thanks again

Hello guys,
I cannot get the banjo bolts on top of the fuel filter to break loose. When I put force on the bolts the whole fuel filter canister spins and the fuel lines are flexing to the extent they could tear.
I'm leary to use an impact gun on these bolts as I am afraid it could rapidly spin...

How do I remove this trim piece?
I searched the Acura parts diagram and it looks like a 3 year old child drew the diagram. I was hoping to simply 'see' how the trim piece was attached... either with clips or nuts, or both.
This is an expensive part and hard to find. So I do not want...
I agree, very unusual for 2 issues like this to develop nearly at the same time. With that in mind, I too had a nearly certain feeling the issues would have been related to the Viper aftermarket security system. I am rather surprised it wasn't the aforementioned!
