Type S (Upgrades only add up to 600 HP?)

I can appreciate this. Obviously if you want the car to hold up to the abuse to perform these maneuvers then CC is undoubtedly the way to go. I've heard something similar with driving style with this car. That when the car understeers you need to turn into it harder and push the throttle more...

Type S (Upgrades only add up to 600 HP?)

That's interesting, I didn't know that. It's too bad then that so many of the initial reviews dissed on the 2017 car. I feel like nearly every professional reviewer had their mind made up before they even sat in the car. It's like they looked at the specs and thought "this is heavy and...

Type S (Upgrades only add up to 600 HP?)

I love those videos and have watched them a few times. In your experience do you think that red roll racing NSX is tuned? I can't imagine that thing is stock. I love how the Corvette and 911 are racing and the NSX walks by them out of nowhere. I think it's awesome that DragTimes has posted...

Type S (Upgrades only add up to 600 HP?)

Exactly the type of input I was looking for with this thread. It's not pretentious; you're not freaking out because I mentioned Dodge and telling me I should just go own one if I can't appreciate the car! You're not dissing on me because I can't afford CC brakes (I probably can) and implying I...

wow, it was a joke. Guess I should have picked a different line to quote.

Lol, you made the movie reference. Watch the scene again. I’m just kidding.

Type S (Upgrades only add up to 600 HP?)

I’ve noticed there are two types of people in this forum, people who are way cool and those who like you who are pretentious AF! Makes me want to take delivery of my car and release a bunch of YouTube videos showing how pathetic the FU..ING Dodge is compared to my Non-blind spot having NSX. I...

    Type-S Announced

Those are two great cars to have. I hope you get your Type S. The Viper is such a horrible yet fun car. I'm always walking past the significantly better F-Type in the garage to drive it. People lose their freaking minds when I'm in that car. I have a feeling the rarity of the NSX might do...

Type S (Upgrades only add up to 600 HP?)

I went with standard brakes with the same thought of them making more financial sense. For street driving the CC are supposed to last around 100k miles but I think the risk is pretty high that they won't. Then again, even if they failed at half that (50,000 miles) it's a long ways away but...

    Type-S Announced

I'm curious if you own a Viper. I have a 2001 GTS. It would be wild having this totally analog zero nanny Viper sitting next to a technological tour de force NSX. Hard to have more contrast between two cars other than getting a Tesla and that's not an option for me. Keeping the thread on...

Type S (Upgrades only add up to 600 HP?)

Not sure you followed the logic. If we want we can compare the NSX to cars at its price level which would be far more fair. The reference with the RedEye is how it's a product that has power, a warranty, and meets emissions and will also drive in death valley to the top of pikes peak...

Type S (Upgrades only add up to 600 HP?)

True and well written. I guess the only thing I'm left scratching my head with is RedEye. Dodge could meet all those requirements while pumping out 797 hp. You can fire it up in death valley without being stranded. It'll run flawlessly in Fairbanks Alaska and it'll run perfectly fine at the...

Type S (Upgrades only add up to 600 HP?)

The Type S gets bump of 27 hp and 16 lb-ft torque over the regular car with a bunch of upgrades which seems crazy small to me. We're talking new turbos, intercoolers, and injectors from the GT3 race car and it only puts out 27 more hp? I almost feel like you'd have to detune it with new turbos...
