NSX Alternator
Hey Brent,
Yes that alternator sold many years ago. I apologize because I didn't know the post was still up all these years later. Take care and thanks for the inquiry.
Chris

Some of my fondest track memories are of the GT 40s spinning off track as I sat a few feet of their bumpers and filled their mirrors. It is amazing to see how big a man's eyes can get going off track backwards at 100+. Cool for the street I guess...but that's all I'll give it.
Carbon hood for the 2002-2005 models, or any NSX with 02+ headlight conversion. I purchased this hood, used, directly from Peter at Downforce as a first step in converting my NA1 car to NA2 headlights. I have decided against this mod so the hood is available at this time. The hood is the full...
We just got some colder temps last night. Colder temps here in Santa Barbara imply 50 degrees...so not all that cold obviously. Car cranked longer then the previous morning at 60 degrees so I inched my Crank Injector Time Table values up to 55 and it lit right off. In colder temps I could see...
Thanks to some great input from DDozier I have my car's cold start completely dialed in. The Crank Injector Time Table had to be adjusted in small increments...three times. The initial setting was set to 44. At 48 the engine started better, but not perfectly. I inched the setting to 50, and...
Good info. Please keep us posted. I am on the road currently, but if needed I will post my advanced start options screen so we can compare notes when I get home in a couple of days.
Thanks for posting the results of your timing adjustments. I too concluded to set it at the 15 degree BTDC during cranking based on the same logic. The car does start great on any occasion other then the first cold start of the day. Do you have your car starting well in all circumstances?
Thanks Dave. I was using the fuel pressure to effectively/mechanically adjust the A/F ratio during cranking. I will play around with the injector pulse width during cranking as well. I am curious if anyone has the timing (during cranking) set differently then the default values. Dave, if your...
My 93 (turbo), running the 1st gen. AEM EMS, has the exact same starting symptoms. I had the symptom with the OE fuel pressure regulator, as well as with an Aeromotive 1:1 regulator. I have a fuel gauge monitoring the line pressure, and once the inititial prime occurs there is no difference in...
First Gen. AEM EMS units have a part number starting with 30-1XXX and they were shipped with a VTEC Sub Harness as a sepearte piece of wiring. I need one of the VTEC Sub-Harnesses only and unfortunately AEM no longer sells them. Any help would be appreciated guys. Thanks. Chris
