some advise regarding tipping engines for timing belt replacment

There are 4 mounts, you won't be disconnecting all of them so the engine will still be supported by the remaining mounts. You have to tilt the engine to get enough clearance to get the belt on and off of the cam gears. It really is that tight of a fit. The above link from Tom is much better...

Harry’s lap timer pro versus a Transponder

I'm using this: http://www.racechrono.com/ Bought a dedicated cheapy Nokia off of ebay to run it and it works very well. Looks like they have an android port available now, although for me, I'm happy to keep using the Nokia and not risk my work phone flying out of the window I should mention...

Where to have headers installed locally?

It is necessary to drop the front beam for this. It's not horribly complex, but isn't a standard oil change type job. If yours is an older NSX and hasn't been apart before, there are going to be some rusted nuts/bolts in hard to reach places (ie front bank heat shield + exhaust port bolts) so...

Another Fork Clutch How to? Am I pulling or Pushing?

For the first bit - Straight. It helps if you take the weight off of the input shaft by supporting the trans with a jack. Remember that with the mounts on that side removed, all of the weight of the trans is tilting it against the input shaft and causing a lot of friction. Make sure you got...

    Where to buy Bilsteins?

Wherever you buy them from, get them from a reputable dealer as it will help immensely if you ever have to take advantage of the lifetime warranty.

    Rebuilt steering rack (A-1 Cardone)

Hi Grybrd (grey bird or grey beard hmm?) I don't know why it took me this long to figure it out, but I assume this means you went through with the purchase of that NSX with the bad rack? If so congrats!

Transmission & Clutch Removal (Tips & Tricks)

The premature wear I believe you're talking about is from not initializing the disks since it's a dual disk setup. There is a pdf on Dali's site somewhere on the procedure and it's well written and also describes where and how to grease the input shaft...

    DIY Bolt-On-Pulley protective shield

I had a feeling that was case about the damper needing to be able to move. I believe I have one of the newer shields from Ti-Dave (bought in late '10 or early '11). It's the same overall outside shape and has the same attachment points. The swiss-cheese holes/moons are no longer removed

    DIY Bolt-On-Pulley protective shield

My first thought was also the balancing. Probably balancing after is the only sure way which is hopefully not super expensive? I'm not really in the know, but I want to say balancing a flywheel is in the $20 range. Would there be additional challenges to balancing a piece like this? BUT...

    The Official 2012 F1 Thread...

My thoughts after this weekend's race: I hope Grosjean gets it together. 3/3 DNF is not a good record. What happened to Nico Rossberg? 2 years of outperforming his teammate and then now struggling badly? Merc brass must be as disappointed as I am after so much promise early on. Massa...

    5-Point Harness and OEM seats

I would rather run with no sub strap than to run it over the top of the seat cushion.
