Respectfully, it would if they were not tight enough to be holding the wire securely with good contact. Also I know how to drive screws - these were flawed from the very outset without over-tightening .... & you agreed with me at the time it was a quality issue!

The same as identified by Gman - note that these connections will also arm your OEM security system in parallel (the security indicator on the door will flash, showing that it is armed also)
Before you do this, first check your connections at the security or door lock modules (under the glove box) to be sure that the original connections are still good.
It's really impossible to tell what colour extender wires the original installer used but the output wires from the brain are...

Note that the OP did not actually say that that the car already has (had) an OEM keyless installed, just that he has no remotes - I suspect he is just assuming that the fobs are simply missing.
Chances are it never had a keyless system (which is an option) so possibly not even the brain is there...
