Docjohn, not totally opposed to SUV's. The new jeep SRT8 is a monster. I like the cayenne, but would be hard pressed to find a non-beat up turbo in that price range I think. Any suggestions?

I too am a long time member on Bimmerforums. I sold my 95 M3 to buy my NSX (which is since gone). I loved the car, never had a problem until i mis-shifted and threw a couple of valves. Other than that, I highly recommend the E36 cars. Easy to work on and a joy to drive.
Animal Cruelty is only a class 1 misdemeanor in the state of Colorado too (as with most states). Should be a felony IMO. Good thing I'm not a judge, I'd throw the book at people who abuse/neglect/kill animals.
