Thanks. Yeah, that’s why I’m leaning towards just DPs when I eventually go that route. Just wasn’t sure if the 30lb savings with a valveless exhaust was worthwhile.
July ‘22?!? Dang, guess it’s a moot point then. I have since found out that Pride is local, and they seem to have some happy customers, so I’ll probably go that route for downpipes, and stick with the factory exhaust for now. Thanks for the reply.
Preface: I love the car so far in my short ownership period, and it’s a fabulous semi-daily driver.
But… I find the ingress/egress on the NC1 the most difficult of any car I’ve driven/owned. This thing makes the Gen V ACR and 991 RS with carbon buckets look easy. It’s hard to make a graceful...
Search didn’t yield any results. Wondering if anyone has any experience with larger tires on the OEM wheels? I’m interested in MPSC2 tires and going 10mm wider front and rear (F 255/35-19, R 315/30-20). According to Tirerack the wheels widths are fine, but hoping someone has actually done it and...
Hi all. Long time lurker, but I finally bought a car. I don’t take delivery until next Thursday, and the wait is excruciating.
I am considering the exhaust options, and l and hoping there is a SOS Sport+ Valve Delete exhaust owner in the DFW area,
who wouldn’t mind letting me hear their car...
I know it's been a couple months, but I'll post anyway. If Forgeline and Finspeed can build 18" wheels to fit over the CCBs on the Viper ACR, I'm sure it can be done on the NC1 too. Just a thought.
I agree, and I think a trap speed is even more telling than ET. I’m not a drag guy at all, but trap speeds generally don’t lie and are the first metric I look at for “fun” cars, with 60-130 being a close second.
Just went to see the new Corvette at a local dealer, and there was a white 2017 NSX in the lot. Had downpipes and JB4, and the owner was kind enough to start it up for me. Sounded great and he claimed it made a drastic difference in performance. Starting to think a 17-18 might be the right car...
Gorgeous example. Im not a blue car guy, but this blue is exceptional. Is asking price still the one in the first post?
I’m currently working on selling my Viper ACR, and would be interested should it sell. GLWS.
Interesting. I’m pretty sure I saw a post on this forum saying somebody had swapped bars. I’ll need to look more into that to see if it’s viable. I’m generally a DIY type, so hourly cost isn’t really an issue as long as it’s doable. I also expect to have a lift installed shortly.
