On hi rev engine I always gap bottom rings .004” bigger to eliminate ring flutter at high rpm. That could be ur problem?

Yup cleaning is very important. I also drain oils after first heat cycle

Hey this is trieu ( u bought my rods). It looks worst than I thought. Wonder what rings gap u running or can u check it again see if it’s too small. During break in, does it ever get over heat?

True, most people just upgraded to forged pistons for peace of mind or more room for later. Cracked ring land is not because of the pistons can’t handle the power. But if u looking for north of 400whp then replace the pistons for sure. Motor build will become a money pit very fast. I rather fix...

I believe even stock pistons can handle 500 whp no problem if u open up the ring gap a little bigger

Option 3 if u have a good machine shop u can trust

Series 1 is only one specific made for 91-94 nsx only( not 95+) no jumper harness what so ever.

Aem made 2 versions of ems series 1 for 91-94 nsx. Series 1 v1 needs to wire VTEC plug, series 1 v2 is plug and play
