Paul the owner of Radial tire is Fantastic to deal with,
He is a Grand am racer himself, is local to you and he will be as cheap or cheaper than Anywhere in the country, and NO shipping charges. He is VERY Knowledgeable, I believe is does as many if not more race tires sales than anyone in the...
I wasted the time to re-read this article and I had to laugh at
"Unfortunately, on most perofrmance cars, ram-air is as functional as tail fins were on cars of the ’60s."
He must be speaking of GM cars, Kings of fake intakes, or ram air's that ram air into the engine compartment. It is a true...
The article has a "few" valid points but it greatly downplays the value of ram air, especially in a racing environment where a few HP makes a big difference.
I have tested many different air intake set-ups and ram air tubes on a dyno and in the real world. To say they are not effective in...
I have been working on this for some time now,
Elite Autohaus in Jessup is my first choice but they have turned into a Insurance shop(always busy with repairs), not very interested in stuff like ours. it also doesnt help that their "A+" painter broke his painting wrist a couple weeks ago. They...
A good alignment may be a smart investment sounds to me like its off with your described driving impressions.
A little off makes a big difference, especially with larger wheels
But even all stock the slightest amount of rear toe out will make it feel all wrong.
A bad alignment can also create...
If you want to do it right, you should corner balance the car, now that you have the adjustability to do so. If you have a passenger the majority of the time then thats how it should be balanced. borrow a set of scales or find a shop that can do it for/with you.
Fix the front of the rear wheel well, and you have a very interesting design.
I don't know about shortening anything, may get to look like an eclipse:eek:
, but then again I am not a designer, what you have done looks Great.

Thanks
The easy thing to do is just buy her another car.
I bought my wife an M3 convertible, which she loves. We can cruise in it, take both kids etc etc. And yes we have tracked it.
Yes, I know probably not the answer you are looking for, but I understand the issues you have, and its easier to justiy...
This is a picture of a 360 CS, not a std 360. I am in love with this interior and have been trying to find a shop that would do my NSX like it. Last quote was 10K and thats not including any of the carbon work etc.
I may just have to buy a CS if Acura doesnt come out with a new NSX. :(
If...
Unless you go with wider front fenders, 9's are to wide unless you run smaller tires, so whats the point. 245/40 willl go on 8-8.5 perfectly and be a better set up.(very tight though) Take a hammer to the foot wells etc.
I dont think your rear 9's are going to work for you on the front.
just my...
