    Loose driver’s door handle

@Radarnyc if you remove any of those screws, remember where the gold and black go. They're not interchangeable, but they're not different enough to prevent you from damaging a mounting hole by forcing the wrong screw into it.

    SmarTenna installed

I can take pictures of mine this weekend. But you can also contact BZ directly and ask for the PDF instructions. He's friendly, even though he's a bigshot satellite engineer now. Email address on the page you linked should still work; if it doesn't, let me know and I'll call him.

    Throttle cable replacement

Seats and carpet are still out of my car, and I'm considering doing exactly that, because otherwise it'll be impossible to disconnect the cable from the throttle body in the future. Sigh.

    Throttle cable replacement

Thanks. I found that and it really helped with those carpet clips. But the video ends with the removal of the cable, so there's no information about the installation. FYI for anyone who's doing this repair in the future: The AS Motorsports cable does not have the reduced-diameter section in...

    Throttle cable replacement

Well, that was the most miserable repair I've ever done on any car.

    Throttle cable replacement

Ok, so now I've got everything out except the passenger-side console carpet. Is there a trick to removing it? The manual shows what look like keyhole-shaped clips on the top edge of the carpet -- is there a way to get them to release without removing the center console? Also, the air vent...

    Throttle cable replacement

Thanks. In my case it seems unlikely that the strands were damaged that way -- the only person who's worked on the car for the last 20 years is Don Lam, and it's been a long time since it's needed any work that requires unclipping the cable anyway. But I have put 300K+ miles on my car, so...

    Throttle cable replacement

Very little. Just the adjustment procedure and the obvious routing on the engine side of the firewall. I took your advice and removed the driver's seat as well as the passenger's. Glad I did -- looks like clipping the cable into the pedal will be difficult even with the seat out. Would be...

    Throttle cable replacement

So a few weeks ago I pressed the NSX throttle pedal for probably the three-millionth time and the cable snapped. I was in the mountains with no tools, and home was uphill, so I wedged the throttle open with a stick jammed into the linkage and limped home that way. Found the Dutch guy who makes...

    Thermal Club

I'm not rich enough to be a member, so I don't know what that experience is like (but I can guess that it probably doesn't suck). The track itself is like other country-club tracks: safe, not very fast, lots and lots of turns -- if you've been in San Diego long enough to remember PCA time...

    History behind this 1991 - JH4NA1154MT002713

I don't know what that thing is, but it's everywhere: The guy with the worst car for sale is the most easily insulted by a low offer, the client with the worst payment record always wants the most special treatment, etc. Mrs. Fastfwd and I competed to see who could find the most missing or...

    History behind this 1991 - JH4NA1154MT002713

I don't doubt that those issues are on the long list of things that are wrong. The car is a basket case. If you didn't already have a job, and wanted to go into the auto scrapyard business, it might be worth a few dollars for parts. But if you're looking for a car you can drive, you'll be...

Just no. There is literally nothing right with that car.
