For my 8th birthday my grandma gave me a 10-year subscription to Motor Trend and Road & Track magazines. I grew up doing book reports on the latest car magazines that had come through the mail (pre-iPad days). Sports was the dominant part of my life for years and prohibited me from really getting into the car scene. Basketball is my sport of choice. I was a McDonald's All-American in high school and went on to play D-1 ball before having to walk away from the sport due to injury.

I fell in love with the NSX when, as a young man, my father's colleague was asked to sell the NSX that was formerly owned by Harrison Ford on consignment. My dad and I test drove the car and it was love at first drive. We didn't buy it but I have wanted one ever since.
